Want to get Involved?
Pray!
If you don’t already get newsletters from the current staff, you can sign up and get monthly or bimonthly prayer requests. As you may remember from retreats, leaders meetings, discipleship and daily prayer meetings…we believe prayer makes all the difference on campus.
Give!
Giving to the chapter keeps staff on campus and leads directly to more students getting to meet Jesus through small groups, leadership and discipleship. Start supporting the 70+ year legacy at the UW here!
Volunteer!
Email me at brittany.pedersen@intervarsity.org to get on a list of volunteers that help with periodic events (especially new student outreach). Ways to help can include things like:
Providing food
Setting up/tearing down events
Working a welcome table
Data entry of contact cards
Making care baskets for leaders
And more…
FAQs
Can I bring my family?
As parents of 6, we think that kids are terrific! It can sometimes be more complicated entering in to opportunities like this in the stage of life with littles. We have a couple options!
First, there will be an optional free time activity that is little-kid friendly. It will provide the opportunity to interact with some other alumni in the same life stage while kids go crazy. PLEASE reach out via email to let us know that you are interested in the kid--friendly free-time options so we have a general head count!
Second, we will be able to have a family room with a movie on during the evening content. Unfortunately, we can’t offer babysitting but the room will be available for kids to hang out on their own if they are old enough to be independent or with a parent if they are too young.
